A Personal Gim to my Third Cousins
This was a personal project—these are my Great-Great-Grandparents George Cross and Barbara Brodie. I took this photo with my phone on an ancestry trip with my sister. We were standing in a park, converted from a cemetery, and the sky was moody on a perfect Autumn day. This church and place holds a lot of meaning for me. George and Barbara children were all bap9sed here and they commissioned a stain glass window in the memory of their parents. I love that you can easily see the variety of family sizes from the size of the circles. Like other cousin trees the colours change with every generation. It is wondrous that a poster with so many families and relatives is only this size and frames up beautifully.
