I was provided with a 1-page photocopy of some written family notes and an obituary. I was able to get the Belgian-Dutch obituary translated which helped with the beginning of the research. From there I was able to trace much of the family as they immigrated to Canada. I uncovered a murder story along the way. The Flemish castle pictured was not theirs although it was on the river that was prominent in their family history. The Flemish lion was an additional touch that a cousin eventually had a tattoo made from!
